This basic sewing class is for individuals who are ages 8 yrs to 13yrs old who has little or no sewing experience. In this level you will build on taking accurate measurements, pattern adjustments, and working with sheer fabrics. Level 3's garment is packed with techniques to help the intermediate sewer advance. Learn an array of new techniques such as how to sew shoulder seams, apply a collar to a neckline, and construct neck and front facings. You are also instructed on how to fit a sleeve cap, hem plain or ruffles sleeves, how to apply front closures, sew patch products, and hem your finished garment. Do you want to learn how to add a few decorative touches to your garment. Level 3 will teach you how to make simple round collars with inserted lace, apply lace edging to a collar, and gather ruffles, Or, add extra special detailing with French seams, hand rolled hems, and SO MUCH MORE. Whether you are sewing a basic garment or adding a little creative interest, Level 3 has something for you.

This class is for an individual who have purchase a sewing machine and are having difficulty learning how to operate their machine. The class will consist of basic sewing machine operation utilizing the manual to thread the machine, wind the bobbin, button hole operation.

If you have beginning sewing experience, Level 2 will build on the skills you already possess and will teach you a variety of new techniques. In Level 2, you will learn the skills you need to make a skirt. This includes how to insert and construct a zipper, waistband, slits, darts, and pleats, all shown in detail. Plus, learn basic fitting techniques. (8.hrs)

Pick a week and learn to sew. This summer camp is offered as a one week class in the morning or afternoon. Select a week that works with your summer schedule during the month of June. Students will be introduced to basic sewing skills by learning the different parts of the sewing machine, basic stitching, tools, sewing verbiage that will enable them to complete a sewing project each day.

Open sewing day is for sewers who have a project that they maybe having problems completing and want to spend that day with other sewers to get it completed. There will be no instructor for the open sew, just fellow sewers who will collaborate and assist each other to get their projects finished. Open sewing day will be the third Tuesday of each month from 11am to 6pm .
