Instructor Bio: | Jennifer's artistic life began with crayons, colored pencils paints and now fiber. At the age of nine, she was introduced to sewing on her moms Singer sewing machine. At 34, she was introduced to quilt-making and has been in love with all aspects of fiber art since. In 1996, she began teaching her passion of hand applique and traditional quilt making. Over the years, her love for fiber art has expanded to include hand and domestic machine quilting, applique, piecing, and embroidery. Jennifer has taught locally in Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia as a fiber artist, quilt-maker, and as an instructor. She has also taught at Chesapeake Bay Quilting in Waldorf MD and Tomorrows Treasures in Crofton, MD. She especially loves to teach Electric Quilt (EQ) software technology.
