Basic Sewing Level 2 (May 23 & May 25, 2022) 10:00pm-2:00pm (Fayetteville)

| Skill Details: | This class is a continuation from level 1; which will build the beginner skill level to learn how to input zippers, waist band and interfacing, button or a snap and hooks. |
| Materials Included: | The supplies for this class is an optional purchase with class. However, the supplies will be needed at the beginning of class. Also, if an individual does not have a sewing machine, one can be rented but the price is not included in the price of the class. If the kit is purchased, the following is included: Pattern, 4 zippers, working fabric for projects, interfacing, thread, Hook & eyes closures, muslin, and dressmaking paper. Otherwise, all supplies will be needed prior to class. |
| Requirements: | Each individual is required to have a sewing machine, Fabric base upon Pattern, seam ripper, thread, tracing paper, Medal Sewing Gauge, Tape Measurement, Scissors, pins, Pin cushion, Silk Pins, Hand Sewing Needles, 3 standard zippers an invisible zipper(7-9"), interfacing, snaps, buttons, and hooks. |

| Instructor Bio: | Joyce learned how to sew while in home economics and developed a love for sewing. Over the years, while serving in the military, Joyce continue to sew for herself and her children. While she loved being in the Army, she always wished she was home sewing and on many occasions stated that when she retires, she would just sit home and sew. Although, she continued to sew while retired, she pursed another job for 4 years. At first the job was fun, but after a few years, the job was no longer fun and she decided to open simply sewing center where she could teach other to sew and sew everyday as she dreamed. |
