Summer Sewing Camp (Ages 9 -12)( June 27-30, 2022 ) 9:00am-12:00pm (Fayetteville, GA)

| Skill Details: | Pick a week and learn to sew. This Christmas camp for kids is offered for 4 days in the morning (9am-Noon) or afternoon (1pm-4pm). Select a week that works with your Christmas schedule during the month of December. Students will be introduced to basic sewing skills by learning the different parts of the sewing machine, basic stitching, tools, sewing verbiage that will enable them to complete a sewing 3 projects during the 4 days. Project examples for the week include: Project Pillow, Scarf, Apron, Pajamas Shorts, Bag with Straps or Skirt. |
| Materials Included: | All supplies needed will be provided by simply sewing center including sewing machine if individuals does not have their own sewing machine. |
| Requirements: | Classes that are from 9am-noon will be reserved for ages 9 to 12; and the afternoon classes are reserved for ages 13 to 15. If you need an afternoon or morning for a different age group, please call the store to discuss and we will try to work with you on times. |

| Instructor Bio: | Joyce learned how to sew while in home economics and developed a love for sewing. Over the years, while serving in the military, Joyce continue to sew for herself and her family. While she loved being in the Army, she always wished she was home sewing and on many occasions stated that when she retires, she would just sit home and sew. Although, she continued to sew while retired, she pursed another job for 4 years. At first the job was fun, but after a few years, the job was no longer fun and she decided to open simply sewing center where she could teach other to sew and sew everyday as she dreamed. |
